Improving Water Quality Monitoring from Hyperspectral Data
14.07.2025
We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest research article:
Assessment of Remote Sensing Reflectance Glint Correction Methods from Fixed Automated Above-Water Hyperspectral Radiometric Measurement in Highly Turbid Coastal Waters by Behnaz Arabi, Masoud Moradi, Annelies Hommersom, Johan van der Molen, and Leon Serre-Fredj, published in Remote Sensing (2025, Vol. 17, Article 2209).
This study evaluates various glint correction methods for above-water radiometric measurements in the Dutch Wadden Sea and demonstrates the advantages of using a three-component reflectance model for improving water quality retrievals in complex coastal environments.
